The Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians Tribal Council gave themselves pay increases in violation of Tribal law. Meghann filed suit on behalf of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians for Justice & Accountability to dispute those raises. She was interviewed on the legality of the raises and what actions the Council should take in light on the lawsuit that has been filed.
